High-Quality Gas Blenders
Mix the Perfect Blend to Match the Needs of Your System
Understanding Gas Blenders: How Do Blended Gases Work?
Within draft systems, gas blenders play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality draft beer. Typically, a combination of CO₂ (carbon dioxide) and nitrogen (N₂) gases are mixed at different percentages to create ideal beverage textures and flavors. For example, stouts require more nitrogen for a smooth, creamy finish, while standard lagers and ales are more carbonated.
Unlike pre-filled mixed gas cylinders, gas blenders automatically and continuously combine your chosen gas mixture at precise inlet pressures for consistent performance and safety. That means no pressure fluctuations, no guessing, and fewer costly refills.
Gas blenders help your business by:
Maintaining proper carbonation: Blenders mix CO2 and nitrogen just right to stop too much foam and keep beer from tasting flat.
Improving pour quality and consistency: They use exact gas mixes—like 60/40 for lagers or 25/75 for stouts—so each pour tastes and looks "brewery fresh" no matter the draft line length.
Saving money by reducing waste: Balanced systems stop foam waste, increasing keg yield. On-site gas blending is usually much cheaper than buying pre-mixed cylinders.
Why Trumix® Blenders?
Trumix® blenders mix CO2 and N2 on demand and are best used for long draw draft systems. The Trumix® Single blender comes preset with your desired blend, while double and triple blenders make unique blend selections easy. Panels mount easily on the wall, and are simple to install.

The Easy Installation Process
Select A Blender: After we work together to evaluate your draft layout, keg count, and desired gas blends, we'll select the best gas blender for your business. In addition, we're happy to answer any questions you have about fittings, connection types, and inlet/outlet pressure requirements.
Pre-Installation Prep: After you choose a blender, our certified technicians verify the gas supply (CO₂/N₂), regulator types, and tubing runs to find the best mounting location.
Mount the Panel: Once the ideal mounting location is determined, we'll carefully secure the wall-mount panel and ensure it's leveled.
Make Gas Connections: We connect CO₂ and N₂ inlet lines and the mixed gas outlet using standard fittings, then secure and label every line for safety.
Set & Verify Inlet Pressures: While Trumix® blenders come with factory presents, we can also adjust and confirm inlet pressures for customized applications.
Tests & Safety Checks: After the initial installation, we perform full leak testing, regulator and relief checks, and verification that the unit will not operate if a supply fails. Then, we run the system under typical flow conditions to confirm proper functionality.
Commissioning & Handover: Final system settings are saved, documentation provided, and we demonstrate operation and routine checks to your staff.
Training & Support: We save your system settings for convenience, then work to train your staff on how to use the new system. This includes how to monitor it, basic troubleshooting, and safe operation.
